I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer because I have access to so many great photography locations to shoot. Philadelphia is one of my favorite cities to shoot. I met Rose Ann & Mark at the Morris Arboretum yesterday to shoot their engagement portraits. They were referred to me by the AWESOME Nina Mirarchi Balsamo….Thanks Nina! I shot Nina’s wedding in Philadelphia a few years ago. I am so lucky to bond so closely with my wedding couples. I have stayed in touch with Nina and she continues to help my wedding photography business by referring new couples! Rose Ann and Mark were so laid back and easy to work with. The love they share is evident in the images. Rose Ann was such a good sport walking around wearing that dress in the cold!
I have shot a few weddings at the Morris Arboretum but I had never walked around the 92 acres the Arboretum has to offer. I love the parks that Delaware has to offer but this one is absolutely stunning! It has a very “Longwood Gardens” feel to it. We arrived about 90 min before it closed so there were almost no other people there allowing us to take the engagement portraits without interruption. Morris Arboretum has so many different textures from the beautiful Rose Garden to the miniature village with working railroad. We really took advantage of this and we were lucky enough to still have some fall colors on the trees even though it was so late in the year. We had great weather and the Arboretum is gorgeous! They are getting married next may at Corpus Christi Church and their reception will be at Talamore Country Club. I really hope you enjoy the engagement portraits! I highly recommend Morris Arboretum for any portraits. It is a beautiful place and the admission fee helps support the non-profit organization that keeps the arboretum runing.

Great job on this engagement session. You picked what looks like the perfect place to complement this couple. Love their expressions.
