I love Delaware Weddings in the fall! The colors were terrific when Katie & Jeff got married! Because of the limited light we all decided to do the portraits before the wedding and I am stoked at the results! The portraits were shot at Carousel Park in Pike Creek and the Wedding ceremony was at Newark Methodist Church. Then on to the party at… Mendenhall Inn! The band JellyRoll, one of the PREMIER Delaware Wedding Bands, ROCKED the house and kept the party going. Congratulations Katie & Jeff!!

As with many of my wedding couples I have really bonded with Amy & John. They are AWESOME! I am proud to call them friends. I was honored to capture an image of Amy at the site of her father’s grave at her request. It was very moving. Take a look at John’s wedding band. It is BY FAR the coolest ring I have EVER seen! He is an Iron Worker so the steel cable in the ring has significance. The Wedding was at the St. James Church and the reception was at White Clay Creek Country Club, a GREAT Delaware Wedding Venue! What a GREAT day! A HUGE thank you to my friend Jim Hopkins (www.jbhop.com) for shooting with me!

I cant tell you the last time I had this much fun at a Wedding. Laura & Jason were AWESOME! I had an incredible time. I told Laura that I felt more like a part of the family than the photographer. Both the ceremony and reception were at Deerfield Country Club. I highly recommend that venue. The staff at Deerfield Country Club is incredible. We got lucky once again with weather. I could see lightning in the distance during the outdoor ceremony but it stayed dry for us all afternoon!

I don’t have to say a word….Just look at Colleen….wow. Talk about a beautiful Bride! And I got the pleasure of getting to know her and Mike…They are both beautiful people too. Look at Mike’s eyes. Are you kidding me? They were married at St. Patrick’s on N. Market Street in town and the reception was at Harry’s Savoy Grill. Harry’s did a great job as always and DJ bishop of “DJs available” kept the Party going…..We stopped off at the beautiful Rockford Park for some fun shots beforehand.

I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the Wedding of Lisa & Eddie that past Saturday. Our story started months and months ago when they initially booked me. I received the deposit check in the mail and put it in my wallet. The next morning I walked into the living room to find my wallet shredded all over the room and a trail of torn money going out the dog door in my kitchen. Let’s just say My Boxer, Edison, and Australian Sheppard, Digs are lucky they are faster than me. Good thing for me Lisa and Eddie have a sense of humor and wrote another check. Their Wedding was at St. Anthony’s of Padua and the University and Whist Club. It had rained all day Friday and a good part of Saturday but it cleared up right on cue for the Wedding! We ran over to Brandywine Park and did the portraits. The emotion they both showed during the day was touching and made for some memorable images.
