Kiera & Ryan got married last Saturday marking my last wedding of the year and I can’t think of a better way to end the 2011 Wedding season! Kiera was stunning and the weather was perfect for December. I started the day in Pitman, NJ with Kiera at her parents home. The ceremony was at St. John the Baptist Church in Manayunk followed by the reception at the Philadelphia Racquet Club. We rode a Philly Trolley to the Art Museum of Philadelphia and over to Center City for some great portraits! I was lucky enough to have my good friend Jeff Blumberg shooting with me. Check out his work at www.pikthis.com. Congratulations Kiera & Ryan!!

I love being a Delaware Wedding Photographer because I have access to so many great photography locations to shoot. Philadelphia is one of my favorite cities to shoot. I met Rose Ann & Mark at the Morris Arboretum yesterday to shoot their engagement portraits. They were referred to me by the AWESOME Nina Mirarchi Balsamo….Thanks Nina! I shot Nina’s wedding in Philadelphia a few years ago. I am so lucky to bond so closely with my wedding couples. I have stayed in touch with Nina and she continues to help my wedding photography business by referring new couples! Rose Ann and Mark were so laid back and easy to work with. The love they share is evident in the images. Rose Ann was such a good sport walking around wearing that dress in the cold!
I have shot a few weddings at the Morris Arboretum but I had never walked around the 92 acres the Arboretum has to offer. I love the parks that Delaware has to offer but this one is absolutely stunning! It has a very “Longwood Gardens” feel to it. We arrived about 90 min before it closed so there were almost no other people there allowing us to take the engagement portraits without interruption. Morris Arboretum has so many different textures from the beautiful Rose Garden to the miniature village with working railroad. We really took advantage of this and we were lucky enough to still have some fall colors on the trees even though it was so late in the year. We had great weather and the Arboretum is gorgeous! They are getting married next may at Corpus Christi Church and their reception will be at Talamore Country Club. I really hope you enjoy the engagement portraits! I highly recommend Morris Arboretum for any portraits. It is a beautiful place and the admission fee helps support the non-profit organization that keeps the arboretum runing.

There’s nothing like a wedding at a Delaware beach! Colleen and Andrew had a great day for an outdoor wedding! The ceremony was held at the Zwaanendael Museum Garden in downtown Lewes, DE. The reception was held at the Lewes Yacht Club. The yacht club staff were terrific! They were so nice and kept the party running smoothly.

I absolutely LOVE shooting Philadelphia weddings. Kelsey was referred to me by my good friend Keli Vale (Thanks Kel!) and from the minute I met her and Tony I knew this was one wedding to circle on my calendar. I’ve been looking forward to their wedding since they booked and it DID NOT disappoint! What a fun wonderful group of people. I truly felt like family by then end of it all. I met the bride and her bridesmaids at Salon Exquisite for hair photos. Everyone there was so much fun! Then we went back to her house in northeast Philadelphia to finish getting ready for the wedding. The wedding ceremony was at Fox Chase United Methodist followed by reception at the beautiful Pen Ryn Mansion. Pen Ryn Mansion is one of the most beautiful Philadelphia wedding venues around sitting right on the Delaware River. The staff did a fabulous job as usual and the DJ, Bobby Sacco of Sacco Entertainment was PHENOMENAL! The party was amazing and I can’t rave about the job Bobby did enough. This was a great wedding and the bridal party was so easy to work with! Congratulations Kelsey & Tony!!!
